The last day of the 2017 CMA Festival came to the feeling of bittersweet excitement.  It’s was a fun few days and with many more acts coming to the stages but also hated to see the festival come to an end.

There seemed to be as many people inside the Music City Center as it was outside and everyone was enjoying their last day.  While inside the Music City Center the fans could sit and catch Tommy Cash, Georgette Jones, and Daily & Vincent at the Durango Music Spot Stage.  They could also see Hunter Hayes and the CMA Fest Family Feud on the CMS Close Up Stage.

Upon leaving the Music City Center the fans can make their way across the street to the Chevrolet Park Stage to catch the likes of Big Smo, Clare Dunn, and Jamie Lynn Spears.  Heading down toward the river the fans can make a stop at the Budweiser Forever Country Stage and see some country music groups such as Restless Heart, Exile, Shenandoah, and Little Texas, as well as artists Jamie O’Neal and Collin Raye.  If they want to head down to the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage next they could watch performances by Parmalee, RaeLynn, and Craig Campbell.  The afternoon saw more country artists including Eric Paslay, Maddie & Tae, Chase Bryant, and Easton Corbin.

The last night of major country stars in Nissan Stadium began with full stadium of some of the most ravenous music fans in the world.  Those fans got to see an amazing closing night starting off with Tracy Lawrence and the Brothers Osborne.  Then came Darius Rucker and Little Big Town before guitar virtuoso’s Keith Urban and Brad Paisley shut the night down.

The 2017 was a win win for everyone.  The country music stars got to do what they love to say thank you to the fans.  The country music fans got to spend four days in one of the best cities in the country listening to the country stars they love.  Music City got a boost to the economy with all the fans in town from all over the world.  I for one can’t wait to come back next year and do it all over again.
